Our History
Over 8 decades of service
DAE Systems started as Dynamic-Air Engineering, incorporated in 1942 in Los Angeles, CA by Harry Glascock. Harry developed what is believed to be the first fan-forced airborne convection heater for the Army Air Corps in 1942. From these beginnings, Harry’s company established a reputation unsurpassed in providing custom, high reliability air management solutions. In 1964, the company headquarters moved from Los Angeles to Orange County, CA and in 2017 we made the move across country to Claremont, NC where we are today.
New Beginnings
Our Future Looks Bright
Dynamic-Air Engineering Inc is the financial entity behind DAE Systems and the flagship brand. Dynamic-Air Engineering is a manufacturer of military and FAA qualified scalable custom air moving systems for the commercial aerospace and defense markets. Over the years, Dynamic Air Engineering became DAE Systems, by adding DAE Protection as a division with specialized products and services.
MilMotion joined DAE in 1976. MilMotion designs and builds MIL and FAA qualified custom motion components and systems for the defense, medical, and resource exploration markets as well as other demanding applications.

People
Our employees are behind the success of our company. They make decisions every day that are in line with our mission, vision, and values. Every employee’s voice is heard, and opinion valued. Our Circle Meetings held every other week embody their opinions and decisions.
Mission, Vision and Values = Work Life
We encourage creativity in our day-to-day operations. Though employee productivity is critically important, we promote creative thinkers who fundamentally shift the way we do business for the better. They know it’s okay to fail as failure allows our people to assess what they did wrong and improve on their work the next time around. Our policies and programs support and reward employees who demonstrate these behaviors.

We continue to invest in our people through on-the-job training, community college courses, seminars, and even volunteering in the community. We invest in the growth of our employees, encourage them to drive their own careers, and give them the tools to do so.
Our leadership team is committed to growing the business through collaboration, technology and sound engineering. We’re steps ahead as our engineering team is always looking for ways to design and engineer the next best solution that will change the aerospace industry for the better.
