Fume/Gas Extract
Used to exhaust toxic fumes from the vicinity of battery rooms, bilges, machine gun and cannon breaches.
These fans can be produced in single, twin or variable speed versions, matching the severity of the pollution, or doubling as vent fans.
Ventilation
Used for the venting and cooling of galleys, accommodation space, toilets and washrooms, these fans use brushed or brushless DC motors.
Equipment Cooling
As technology increases, electronic equipment and the heat load it brings also increases. With high temperatures and solar energy adding to the problem, electronics can reach their upper operating temperatures. Forced air cooling and spot cooling are provided within and without individual electronic equipment.
Engine Room Cooling
Engine room designers face an ever-increasing demand for cooling air through a variety of high-density radiators, including engine radiators, charge coolers, and oil coolers, all competing for space in the engine room. Engine cooling fans can be driven directly by shaft, belt, or hydraulic drives.
Fan Heaters
Fan heaters may be used for specialist applications such as demist, or de-ice sight lenses on maritime reconnaissance / sighting systems.
